1. Create an Account

Visit skills.maahir.io/register and enter your name, company name, and email. Your account is created instantly with a free plan.

2. Create a Position

Go to Positions → Create Position. Enter the job title, description, employment type, and location. You can publish immediately or save as draft.

3. Build an Assessment

Create an assessment template, add sections (Communication, Base Knowledge, Technical), and add questions (MCQ, numerical, text, etc.). Use AI to generate questions from your job description.

4. Publish & Share

Publish the assessment and share the link (skills.maahir.io/s4s/intern-finance-account) or QR code with candidates. They can apply and take the assessment in one flow.

5. Review Results

As candidates complete assessments, view their scores, reports, and CVs in the Candidates and Reports sections. Use the HR decision bar to shortlist, hold, or reject.

Position Fields

• Title: Job title (e.g., "Intern (Finance and Account)")
• Description: Job description and requirements
• Employment Type: Intern, Full Time, Part Time, Contract
• Department: Department name
• City: Job location
• Country Code: PK (Pakistan) default
• Assessment Required: Whether candidates must take an assessment
• Published: Whether the job is visible to candidates

Tips

• Use clear, specific job titles (not "Manager" but "Finance Manager")
• Include key requirements in the description
• Set assessment_required=true for roles where skills matter
• Publish only when ready — candidates can see published jobs

Question Types

• MCQ: Multiple choice (single correct answer)
• Multi-select: Multiple correct answers
• True/False: Binary choice
• Numerical: Number answer with tolerance
• Text: Short written answer (AI-graded)
• SJT: Situational judgment test
• Matching: Match items to categories
• Ordering: Arrange items in correct order

AI Question Generation

Use the AI to generate questions from your job description. Review and approve before publishing. AI questions are marked with source='ai' for transparency.

Required Segments

Communication and Base Knowledge segments are shown by default. You can add role-specific segments. Opting out of required segments requires a reason.

Candidate Profile

Each candidate has: name, email, phone, location, education, university, experience, expected salary, available hours, self-assessment, CV, and skills matrix (1-4 proficiency + free-form skills).

Candidate Search

Search candidates by name, email, phone, or location. Filter by position, status, and score. Sort by score, salary, or recent.

Candidate Detail

View full profile, self-assessed skills, CV (raw + AI-parsed), test answers, scores, time signals, and HR decision history.

Scoring

Overall score = (total earned / total possible) × 100. Recommendations: ≥75 strong_shortlist, ≥55 shortlist, ≥35 maybe, else reject.

Difficulty Breakdown

Scores are broken down by difficulty level (1-3) and question family. Time signals show slow-correct vs fast-wrong patterns.

HR Decision

HR can shortlist, hold, or reject with a note. The decision is stored as an auditable record (hr_decision + hr_note + hr_decided_by + hr_decided_at).

Supported Formats

PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX (max 6MB). CVs are processed asynchronously: OCR (pdftotext → tesseract) + AI extraction (name, email, phone, education, experience, skills).

CV Panel

HR can view the raw CV file and the AI-extracted data. The AI provides a verdict (score/100, strengths, red flags, education, years, software, last role, fit note).

• Free: 1 position, 10 candidates/month, basic assessments
• Pro: Unlimited positions, 100 candidates/month, AI generation, CV extraction, advanced reports, candidate search, job advertising
• Enterprise: Unlimited everything, white-label, custom integrations, dedicated support, SLA

Payment Methods

JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer (PKR). International: Stripe (coming soon).

Common Issues

• Can't login: Check email/password. Use "Forgot Password" if needed.
• Assessment not loading: Check internet connection. Try refreshing. Assessment links expire after 48 hours.
• CV upload failed: Ensure file is PDF/JPG/PNG/DOCX and under 6MB.
• Report not showing: Reports are generated after assessment completion. May take a few minutes for AI grading.
• Score seems wrong: MCQ/numerical are auto-graded. Text answers are AI-graded with human review available.
